Brunch here is an experience in itself, with dishes such as the Eggs Benedict served alongside breakfast potatoes and fresh greens, or a three-egg omelet filled with goat cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and bacon — all lauded by guests for their impeccable execution and flavor complexity. Fabulous time. Server Jonathan is always wonderful, and our interaction with GM Gizzel helped us understand why everyone is always so accommodating as it is the LEADERSHIP that establishes the standard of excellence experienced from the top down!
The bread was toasted in like a honey butter it was so goodthe truffle fries were seasoned well. The unique flavors for a BLT & fries makes this place stand out. Loved the cute tea pot & cup; the mint decaf with honey & lemon, good. The only thing I didn’t care for was the deviled eggs. All of the staff were friendly. My server Avi R was great
My mom and I had a wonderful meal at White Dog Cafe on Tuesday at 11:30AM. I had an amazing 3 egg omelet with goat cheese, spinach, tomatoes and bacon. The dish included breakfast potatoes and an accompanying salad. Everything was delicious. Mom loved her Butternut Squash soup and my potatoes that she tried! The service was impeccable. We truly had a lovely time!
A varied menu with seasonal & local ingredients served in a stylish room with dog-lover decor. The 3-6 pm Happy Hour is at the bar and outside and has substantial and yummy options.
My partner and I recently went to White Dog for brunch. Overall we had a very lovely experience, but I'd make a few minor changes. Here are my notes: - There's a free parking lot on site, so you don't have to worry about finding parking. - The food was fantastic and fairly priced. I particularly enjoyed the peach rice pudding—an excellent recommendation from our waitress. - Our waitress (I don't remember her name, but she was a young woman with long brown hair) was attentive, friendly, and helpful. A waiter on staff wasn't as friendly or kind, which was disappointing. - The decor is beautiful and super unique, which made for a nice dining experience. However, we were sat at a table with fabric chairs and the fabric was rather unclean (pics included). It kind of grossed me out. These chairs could use a good steam. - There are two single-use restrooms, but it's not clear that there's two (there could be a sign pointing to the one in the back) and it's not clear when someone is in one (it would be nice if the lock indicated if it was occupied or not). There were no paper towels—only hand dryers. Overall we'd come back, but I hope my notes will be helpful to ownership!
Went for brunch since they have an outdoor patio that allows dogs, but it was a bit a chilly. The host brought out a water bowl for my pup and also gave some sourdough for my pup to enjoy. The coffee was delicious and refillable. I ordered the Lancaster County Omelet which was tasty. Also got the bread basket which was essentially banana bread (it paired really well with the butter and honey it came with). The service was great, and the waiter came by frequently to check in on us. Definitely recommend to dine outside when the weather is a bit warmer!
WOW our friend’s recommended this place and it was totally fantastic. The portions were generous, the food exceptionally tasty. The staff were super nice. But what hit me was the lovely decor and ambiance with the dog motif and beautiful and comfortable seating. We had a 3 hour lunch with friends that we hadn’t seen for 50 years‼ do not miss this gem of a restaurant.
